TTI have combined many years experience producing consumer licence-free and CB radio with their knowledge of commercial two-way radio, to design and build the TX-150M. As a result, their first marine portable is extremely user friendly - coupling a compact, robust and functional design with a generous range of features, advanced technology and an exceptional price!
TTI’s focus on user-friendliness is immediately apparent. A large illuminated display takes up almost a third of the front panel and keeps the user fully informed of the channel in use and the radio status.
Directly under this is a well-spaced backlit keypad which provides intuitive access to the TX-150M’s many functions. Dedicated buttons are provided for Channel 16, Channel Up and Down, Menu
access, Dual and Triple watch, channel scan, adjustable squelch and the keypad lock.
Although the TX-150M is one of the most compact marine VHF portables available, it still offers many features that are not found in similarly sized or priced products.

2 power levels - a generous 4 watts of power is available for long range communication, whilst a lower power setting helps to extend battery life.
Dual-watch - allows you to listen on both channel 16 and your working channel.
Triple(tri)-watch - lets you select an additional watch channel Priority channel scan - checks your priority channel between each step of a full channel scan.
Full channel scan - to ind other users and identify free channels. Keypad lock - to avoid accidental operation Power-save for prolonged battery life between charges.
Adjustable squelch - to ensure that even the weakest signals are detected.

The TX-150 takes user friendliness even further - a bargraph style battery indicator keeps the user fully informed of the battery level, whilst a traditional volume control knob allows precise volume
adjustment and a re-assuring on/off ‘click’.
A high-capacity Li-ION rechargeable battery is supplied with the
TX-150M. Not only does this provide a full-days use between charges,
but because it is supplied with a semi-quick intelligent charger it can
be safely charged in around 4 hours without risk of memory effect
or battery damage. The intelligent desk charger can also charge the
battery on it’s own and even alerts the user when the battery is fully charged and ready for use. For onboard charging, a DC charge lead is available as an option.
An accessory socket allows the use of a wide selection of audio
accessories - ideal for convenient and simple use whilst the radio is
inside a jacket, secured on a belt or resting on the chart table.
A waterproof case and a carry case (with belt clip) are also supplied
in the box.
